We are currently recruiting talent on behalf of our nonprofit network for the position of a Custodial Team Member! This position is part of the AbilityOne Program. Candidates selected to be an AbilityOne participating employee must provide documentation verifying a qualifying significant disability, as required by U.S. AbilityOne Commission policies. THE OPPORTUNITY: As a Custodial Team Member, you will ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service possible, playing a key role in ensuring that buildings and shared spaces are ready to be enjoyed by all. WORK SCHEDULE/LOCATION: Monday - Friday, 12-35 hours per week. This position is available at 3 locations - Ft. Shafter, Wheeler Airfield, & Schofield Barracks. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Perform custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors Empty trash receptacles and replace liners Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards May have some company travel as scheduled to various locations-transportation provided PERKS OF THE POSITION: All full-time employees are eligible for full coverage health care through Kaiser or HMSA Dental insurance Vacation, Sick time, and paid Holidays off
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL NEED: This position is part of the AbilityOne Program. Previous custodial experience is a plus Knowledge of custodial practices and techniques Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Must be flexible with work hours and schedule based on business needs Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors Must be able to secure Military Base access
