Description
The System Architecture Engineer will independently lead system development and implementation for Meta's global Design, Construction, and Engineering organization, working closely with business leaders to understand the needs and to develop the strategy and deliverables for tooling and data solutions. This position is responsible for supporting the 5-7 year product lifecycle across a variety of systems primarily from system design solution through implementation leveraging an understanding of business drivers, systems expertise, and program management to improve efficiency and deliver business solutions.System Architecture Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture and delivery - from requirements gathering and business process mapping through design, build, testing, and implementation - using Oracle Unifier, P6, OIC, OPC, Gateway, and Fusion
- Build and maintain applications on Meta internal platforms (Hatch, internal tools) and manage integrations between enterprise and internal systems
- Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to develop tooling strategy, define product vision and roadmaps, and prioritize features aligned with business needs
- Direct and coordinate the work of contract workers and external vendors to deliver on project milestones and quality standards
- Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle environments (Unifier, P6, OPC), including user roles, permissions, security policies, and system settings in compliance with organizational policies
- Oversee system upgrades, patching, and performance monitoring in partnership with relevant teams to ensure optimal operation and security
- Design and manage integrations with other enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity, seamless workflows, and robust backend data architecture for analytics
- Create low-code automated procedures to scale and operationalize business processes, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency
- Develop and maintain documentation including system configurations, integration specs, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides
- Lead user enablement through onboarding, training programs, workshops, and ongoing support - serving as the primary point of contact for user issues and enhancement requests
- Track and report on product KPIs, adoption metrics, user satisfaction, and system usage to identify opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to functional roadmaps by evaluating new and existing systems, gathering user feedback, and advocating for best practices in product lifecycle and change management
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent in information systems, engineering, construction management, or relevant work experience
- 5+ years of overall technical experience working with Technical Program Managers, System Integrators/System Analysts, or similar roles delivering large-scale system and software development programs and projects from conception through implementation
- 3+ years in architecting and implementing design/construction systems using Oracle Unifier and related integration tools/APIs (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud)
- Experience leading full-cycle, end-to-end Oracle Unifier implementation projects, both functionally and technically
- Experience with Oracle Unifier, including planning configurations, workflow modeling, UI design, UDR development, and BI publisher design
- Experience in Oracle SQL and Oracle RDBMS stored procedures
- Experience with various communication strategies, presentations, and analytical skills
- Experience applying project and program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to deliver large-scale technical programs
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners across a global organization
- Experience handling multiple competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment
- Experience in system administration of Oracle (Unifier, P6, OPC) or similar enterprise applications, including user management, security, and configuration
- Demonstrated ability to manage product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and stakeholder engagement for enterprise software solutions
- Proven track record in user management, including onboarding, training, and support for large user bases
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Business, Computer Science, or similar
- Experience with Oracle Unifier/P6/OPC/OIC/Fusion, including planning configurations, workflow modeling, UI design, UDR development, and BI publisher design
- Experience with design/construction systems using business applications (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore, Autodesk ACC, Google AppSheets, etc.)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, BI Publisher) across a global organization
- Experience in Data Center Construction , Network Topology, or Infrastructure industries
- Proficiency in Project Management (PMP) or Six Sigma Certification
- Experience collaborating with Business Intelligence or Data Engineering professionals
- Experience with integration engineering
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

$123,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
