Description
Position PurposeStudy Group Managers work closely with study groups, assisting the students with the academic and project management aspects of the program.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong interest in coaching, teaching, and mentoring.
- Good understanding of the core MBA curriculum (with emphasis on accounting, marketing, corporate finance).
- Experience in project management or consulting engagements.
- Strong project management and mentoring aptitude.
- Understanding of early career business opportunities.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Experience mentoring and/or tutoring undergraduate students or early career professionals is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with corporate valuation concepts & methods is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of recruiting practices and strong industry/functional expertise from pre- MBA careers is highly desirable.

Expected Time Commitment:
- Approx. 5 hours daily, Sunday-Friday, for the duration of the program; time commitment is estimated at 30 hours per week.
- Study Group Managers work mostly in the evening; and two mornings during the last two days of the Program.
- Study Group Managers are expected to contribute to Career Day, as needed.
- Additionally, Study Group Managers attend the evening Study Group Launch and Capstone Project Launch sessions.

Additional Instructions
- Study Group Managers play a key role in the success of the program managing study groups, being content experts, and mentoring students.
- As content experts, they work closely with the Bridge program participants to help them understand the course material and manage the daily course load.
- An important part of the program is the Bridge Capstone Project, where students conduct DCF analysis of a publicly traded company, and present it to a set of outside reviewers on the final day of the Bridge program.
- The Study Group Managers support the study groups with project management, coaching, and subject matter expertise.
- Additionally, Study Group Fellows are expected to engage with Bridge students during Career Day (e.g.by hosting career-related sessions and/or participating in industry panels.)
- The positions are open to both T'26s and T'27s.
Key Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities
- Manage assigned study groups, assisting with coursework and the Capstone Project.
- Track and review group homework/assignment submissions and, in consultation with faculty, provide feedback.
- Monitor groupwork and attendance, and facilitate team dynamics, as needed.
- Assist study groups in developing the 3-statement and DCF valuation model, for the Capstone Project.
- Help study groups problem-structure, create, and adhere to timelines, and meet key milestones and deliverables about the Capstone Project.
- Coach study groups on designing and delivering their presentation.
- Liaise with Bridge faculty and become the content expert in core academic areas (finance, accounting, marketing, managerial economics, spreadsheet modeling).
- Attend core classes, host office hours, and deliver review sessions, as needed.
- Engage with students, provide insights from pre-Tuck careers, participate in panels, and attend networking reception during Career Day.
- Provide mentoring to students on career path and personal skills assessment.
- Serve as a key member of the team supporting the Bridge academic and student life mission.
