The EPA will be responsible for assisting engineers with administrative, documentation, process, and general engineering related support activities. Individuals must demonstrate the ability to support several engineers, providing a wide variety of administrative and computer skills to assist engineering projects. Assignments typically include:
- Preliminary document formatting and preparation utilizing computing resources with a variety of applications
- Performs as primary engineering support focal point for inquiries and problem resolution
- Support to the release and revision phases of the engineering development cycle
- Performs project non-technical duties
- Serves as process and tool expert for engineering design teams
- Must possess ability to coordinate and lead activities as well as strong organization and analytical skills
What You Will Do
- Maintaining site files, including regulatory and test documentation (filing, scanning, etc.)
- Supporting visitor management for test activities
- Assisting with test day coordination (traffic control, orientations, observations, etc.)
- Ordering supplies, coordinating special events, and supporting community relations
- Digitizing historical site and test records (long-term effort)
- Assisting with procedure creation and maintenance (e.g., SWIs)
- Supporting work management coordination, including weekly status meetings
- Site Procurement
Potential Additional Job Responsibilities:
- Edits format of required documentation
- Prepare presentations
- Coordinates the interaction of project/program team and support functions to communicate schedule and status
- Often facilitates internal and/or external meetings
- Releases software and/or documents
- Assists with tracking of Change Orders
- Participates in status meetings
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong knowledge with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as well as O365 Outlook.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, DOORs, SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
