This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
What YOU will do:
- Play the role of a Scrum Master for the Software Solutions team
- Responsible for day-to-day activities ensuring the scrum team follows internal processes and removes roadblocks that impede progress
- Foster collaboration not only within the scrum team but also ensure that dependencies are met to certify the plans produced by the team are being followed and achievable
- Ensure daily tagups are in place, effective communication is followed and provide escalation for rapid resolution.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Track Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint burndown, cycle time, and team capacity
- Prepare and present status reports to management and stakeholders

Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English across all levels of an organization (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Engineering degree
- 3+ years' experience in Scrum Master role
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile frameworks, and Lean principles
- Software level debugging experience
- Experience in Python Programming
- Experience in DevOps
- Experience in DO178C
- Scrum Master certification
