Description
Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP FICO ConsultantThis position requires a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
- Candidate must be located within the commuting distance of Greensboro, NC or be willing to relocate to that location

Preferred Qualifications
SAP Finance
- Financial Accounting (FI): GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting
- Controlling (CO): Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders
- New GL, Parallel Accounting, Document Splitting
- Tax configuration (GST / VAT / Sales Tax - conceptual exposure)
- Month-end & year-end close support
- Financial reporting & reconciliations
- Integration of SAP FI with AFS-specific processes
- Sales Order processing with AFS characteristics
- Season, Grid, Size, Color impact on finance postings
- Revenue recognition in apparel/fashion scenarios
- AFS pricing, rebates, and credit management impact on FI
- AMS support (L2/L3) for SAP Finance & AFS
- Incident, problem, and change management
- Functional specifications for enhancements
- UAT coordination and defect resolution
- Integration testing with MM, SD, AFS, and external systems
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email and face to face.
