Responsibilities

• Turn data into insights, predictions and actionable recommendations, delivering clear business value to customers in their business challenges
• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to meet monthly, ad‑hoc, and strategic reporting needs for Cloud teams and external customers
• Build and manage Power BI Dataflows to ingest, transform, and standardize data using Power Query and DAX
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models that are highly compatible with enterprise data warehouse standards
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries to perform data validation, reconciliation, and in-depth analysis of data surfaced in Power BI
• Collaborate closely with Back-end Data Engineers and Cloud teams to troubleshoot data quality, performance, and pipeline issues
• Optimize report performance using best practices in data modelling, DAX optimization, incremental refresh, and aggregation design
• Provide technical advisory and guidance on Power BI development, SQL optimization, and data management to team members and cross‑functional stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards, including implementation of Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication etiquette

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience developing Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards leveraging Power BI Service and Dataflows with automated refresh
• Strong experience designing and maintaining Power BI Dataflows connected to multiple data sources, including SQL Server and cloud platforms
• Advanced proficiency in data modeling, dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas), and working with large-scale datasets
• DAX Mastery, including:
  • Complex calculated columns and measures
  • Time intelligence and date calculations
  • Performance-aware DAX patterns
• Extensive experience using SQL for data analysis, validation, debugging, and performance tuning
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data structures, and data warehousing concepts
• Proven ability to troubleshoot database and data pipeline issues in collaboration with engineering teams
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing:
  • Incremental refresh
  • Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern ways of working
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage concurrent demands and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power Automate for workflow and reporting automation
• Exposure to Power Apps integration with Power BI
