Senior Consultant, P&C Insurance, North AmericaAbout the Role
The applicant should have experience in advising P&C Insurance client executives, both business and IT, and experience leading teams for digital transformation, process reimagination, platform modernization programs, AI, and internal/external consulting engagements. Applicants should have some of the following experiences in the P&C industry:
- Property and Casualty insurance Product experience:
- Personal Lines (Vehicle/Auto, Motor Cycle, Watercraft, Fire), Property Lines (Home, renters, Condo, etc.), Commercial Lines (Property, Auto, Marine, General Liability, Business Insurance, Workers Compensation, Farm)
- Functional Areas - Product development, Product Consolidation, P&C Claims Management and Distribution Management
- Experience in business analytics and data tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- Experience to latest trends and disruptive innovations in Insurance space like AI, Embedded insurance, Uberization of Agency Models, Touchless claims, Virtual Agents, etc.
- Digital transformation programs or modernization programs.
- Platform implementations, legacy transformation, and digitization of services across the P&C value chain.
- Business operations in problem identification, analysis, and recommendation - analysis of current state, root cause analysis, developing insights, identifying solutions, and designing future state.x
- Process reimagination, process optimization, change management, design thinking type techniques.
- Property and Casualty platforms like Guidewire, DuckCreek, Majesco, EIS, Applied Systems, etc.
Additional Consulting Responsibilities
- Client Relationship and Development: Regularly interacts with clients, including clients at senior levels. Expresses himself/herself well to clients and answers questions fluidly. Earns client's respect.
- Client Delivery: Delivers high-quality client outputs on time, more or less independently: Seeks advice and counsel where needed. Begins to mentor and direct the efforts of others.
- Consulting Behaviours: Works independently with minimal oversight. Identifies and seizes opportunities by taking decisive action. Maintains flexibility on the job; adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary. Demonstrates learnability. Shows willingness to step outside of comfort zone and take on new challenges and responsibilities. Engages in firm and practice building.
- Core Consulting Skills: Constructs simple, complete, compelling business cases to support recommendations. Masters facilitation and meeting skills; plans and leads effective meetings; understands different decision-making styles and drives decision-making. Masters basic presentation skills. Delivers credible presentations for client work; leads discussions with clients at peer or team lead level. Develops focused expertise in a particular horizontal or vertical area.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a P&C insurer or comparable consulting services.
- Strategic mindset and the ability to collaborate with other team members.
- Multitask, engage with stakeholders, plan effectively, and consistently achieve operational goals.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities.

- Ability to collaborate with resources in global delivery model.
- Experience in Agile and/or hybrid methodologies.
Preferred Qualification
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree, Industry-related certification preferred.

- Strategic mindset and the ability to collaborate with other team members.
Travel to client sites and for practice work efforts is required on an as needed basis.
For candidates based out of CA, WA, NY, IL, MN,NJ states, estimated annual gross compensation range is $116,875 to $148,125
