Senior Consultant-LearningAbout the role
The Learning Consultant will partner with the OCM Team, Trainers and Business units subject matter experts and IT functional team to design, support development, delivery and measure learning effectiveness for a Transformation Program. Learning Consultant will collaborate to update learning materials to facilitate achievement of the individual business unit's and organizational goals pre and post training delivery.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct training needs analysis to include audience, role/task and training environment
- Provide training development support and oversight of instructional designers
- Develop the training strategy and curriculum
- Develop the course catalog
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions
- Update training materials per business unit requirements
- Investigate available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective manner by which to meet specific learning needs
- Provide general training content buildout reviews support and execution
- Assist in identifying and prioritizing learning needs of specific employee segments and recommending training solutions for performance related problems
- Develops a means of measuring the effectiveness of state, divisional and locational training programs through piloting, etc.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required.
- At least 5 years of experience in Learning and Training environment
- Live within 2 hours' drive time or be willing to relocate to one of the following Infosys hub offices - Toronto, ON and Calgary, AB.

- Ability to develop a holistic view of training content and performance problems, identify root causes, and suggest training content-based solutions
- Analytical, communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Collaboration skills including the ability to integrate and act upon the diverse perspectives of business unit managers
- Consulting skills including client-facing skills aimed at determining the client's need, perceived roadblocks, business unit culture, and work environment issues
- Knowledge of training and organizational development theories, instructional design models, such as ADDIE, and e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM and AICC)
- Project management skills and ability to facilitate organizing and managing multiple priorities and/or projects
- Risk mitigation skills to help eliminate potential roadblocks in the delivery of training content
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the impact of training on overall organization performance
- Ability to evaluate priorities and execute tasks accordingly in a changing environment
- Ability to identify and define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret extensive variety of instructions in verbal, written, visual, or multimedia form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to work autonomously within global teams and as a liaison to internal clients
- Knowledge of classroom-style course delivery
- Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and curriculum development techniques
- Knowledge of training techniques and ability to suggest enhancements to existing training programs
- Skill in writing proficiency, visual graphics design, and creative talent
- Skill in motivating and coaching individuals
- Working knowledge of utilities processes such as Special Billing, Complex Billing, Net Metering, Rates Calculations etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in organizational development, human resources, education, instructional design, communication, business administration, MIS, or a related field
- Training content authoring tools like Articulate 360, Whatfix, Oracle Guided Learning working knowledge preferred
- Ability to interact at all levels of client organizations
- Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Great listener who is humble yet confident with his/her abilities
- Strategic thinker who pays attention to detail, but isn't afraid to roll up his/her sleeves and do what is required to get the job done
- Creative problem solver
