Job Description

The Data Steward acts as a business-facing functional expert and project manager within the Data & AI domain, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of data initiatives across the entire data lifecycle. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams (Data Engineers and Data Visualization Experts), ensuring that data solutions are aligned with business objectives, properly governed, and delivered with quality and clarity.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Project Governance & Delivery

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements for data initiatives.
  
• Plan, organize, and manage project execution across cross-functional teams.
  
• Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure alignment between all stakeholders.
  

Stakeholder Management & Business Analyst

• Act as a key business partner, ensuring stakeholder expectations are clearly understood and achieved.
  
• Facilitate communication between business users, project managers, analysts, and technical teams involved in Agile delivery.
  
• Support alignment of data products with business value creation and KPI-driven decision-making.
  

Functional Specification & Solution Design

• Strong experience in supply chain domain, Demand planning, SAP knowledge.
  
• Provide functional specifications and requirements for Data Engineers and Data Visualization Experts.
  
• Ensure that business needs are translated into clear, actionable requirements for implementation.
  
• Collaborate in solution design to ensure relevance, robustness, and usability of data products.
  

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify project risks and define mitigation strategies proactively.
  
• Monitor issues continuously and ensure timely resolution to minimize impact.
  

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation across all phases.
  
• Contribute to data governance practices and adherence to guidelines for sustainable data usage (aligned with domain objectives).
  

Must Have Skills (Data steward):

Functional & Domain Expertise

• Strong experience in supply chain domain, Demand planning, SAP knowledge.
  
• Strong understanding of data lifecycle management and business data use cases.
  
• Ability to define and manage end-to-end data project scope and requirements.
  

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Proven experience in project management and coordination across multiple teams.
  
• Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

• Have basic experience on running query to validate the data and Strong analytical thinking to ensure alignment of business requirements with technical deliverables
  
• Capability to identify risks, issues, and inconsistencies and drive resolution.
  

Documentation & Process Rigor

• Ability to maintain structured documentation and project artifacts.
  
• High attention to detail and governance discipline.
  

Collaboration & Agile Mindset

• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
  
• Strong collaboration skills across business, data engineering, and analytics teams.
  

Soft Skills:

• French Language is mandatory skill
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.
  
• Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive.
  
• Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Work well with the team members to maintain high credibility
