Role Description:
The Program Director will own end to end delivery of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program using a Bluefield approach, balancing transformation and selective continuity of legacy systems.
The role operates at executive + delivery level, driving strategy, governance, and execution across business and IT.

Location: Brisbane
Salary: AUD 235,889- 250,588 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Program Leadership & Strategy
• Lead enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation program
• Define target architecture, roadmap, and deployment strategy
• Drive value realization aligned to business case
• Act as the single point of accountability for program success

2. Bluefield Transformation Execution
• Define selective data migration strategy (SDT / Bluefield)
• Identify:

• What to retain (historical data, processes)
• What to transform/redesign

• Oversee:

• Data migration (SNP / ETL approach typically)
• System landscape transformation
• Legacy system decommissioning strategy

3. Governance & Program Control
• Establish program governance, PMO, and reporting frameworks
• Manage:

• Budget, timelines, scope
• Risks, dependencies, RAID logs

• Run:

• Steering committees
• Executive reporting

4. Multi Workstream Delivery Management
• Oversee integrated SAP workstreams:

• Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Asset Mgmt

• Drive solution integration across modules
• Ensure alignment between:

• Business stakeholders
• System integrators
• Internal IT teams

5. Cutover & Deployment Oversight
• Govern:

• Cutover planning
• Mock cycles
• Go-live and hyper care

Essential:
Core Experience
• 18-22+ years IT experience
• 10+ years in SAP program leadership roles
• Proven delivery of large SAP S/4HANA transformation programs

Domain & Technical Expertise
• Strong knowledge of:

• S/4HANA architecture
• Data migration & conversion approaches

• Hands-on exposure to:

• Bluefield / Selective Data Transition (mandatory for this role)

• Experience across:

• Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR

Leadership & Stakeholder Skills
• Executive stakeholder engagement (CIO/ CFO level)
• Strong governance and decision-making capability
• Ability to lead multi-vendor, multi-geo programs

Certifications (Preferred)
• SAP S/4HANA certification
• Program management (PMP / MSP)
