What You Will Do:
- Review AS9102 Form 2 to validate that (raw material, parts, and processes) meet metallurgical and chemical technical requirements.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, certifications, procedures, etc.
- Communicate non-compliances and non-conformances with parties within and outside of own team, to provide support by explaining quality requirements, standards, and specifications.
- Document and report non-compliances and non-conformances to suppliers.
- Works autonomously with limited supervision.
- Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities using CORE tools.
- Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to work evenings and weekends.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience; or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, certifications, and process documentation.
- Experience with review of FAI.
- Experience communicating technical findings, non-conformances, or quality requirements across cross-functional teams and suppliers.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Familiarity with Testing and control of raw materials, finished product, and processing ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable government regulations.
- Familiarity with Chemical/Metallurgical Processes, i.e., laser machining, electro-discharge machining, electro-chemical grinding, brazing, coatings, welding, heat treatment, etc.
- Familiarity with shop operations, work instructions and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and ASQR-01.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
