What You Will Do:

• Review AS9102 Form 2 to validate that (raw material, parts, and processes) meet metallurgical and chemical technical requirements.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, certifications, procedures, etc.
• Communicate non-compliances and non-conformances with parties within and outside of own team, to provide support by explaining quality requirements, standards, and specifications.
• Document and report non-compliances and non-conformances to suppliers.
• Works autonomously with limited supervision.
• Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities using CORE tools.
• Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience; or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, certifications, and process documentation.
• Experience with review of FAI.
• Experience communicating technical findings, non-conformances, or quality requirements across cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Familiarity with Testing and control of raw materials, finished product, and processing ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable government regulations.
• Familiarity with Chemical/Metallurgical Processes, i.e., laser machining, electro-discharge machining, electro-chemical grinding, brazing, coatings, welding, heat treatment, etc.
• Familiarity with shop operations, work instructions and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and ASQR-01.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
