What We Offer
The Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Analyst is responsible for execution and analysis of Preventative (PM)/ Predictive Maintenance (PdM) techniques/technologies to determine functional status of equipment. Based on PM/PdM findings, will make recommendations on changes/modifications to equipment asset policies and will stay informed of the latest PM/PdM techniques and tools and recommend applications.
Major Responsibilities
Execute PM/PdM analysis of equipment vibration readings in assigned area(s) and submit written reports of findings and potential problems. Perform periodic thermography analysis of electrical equipment and generate reports with findings.
Perform troubleshooting via vibration and thermographic analysis as needed to address immediate issues.
Initiate notifications for needed actions; Follow-up on repairs that were undertaken based on PM/PdM readings or trends
Set up computer software with machine data and establish/adjust threshold levels for each machine
Follow-up on unexpected failures to determine if inspection/analysis techniques require modification to provide the proper
indication of potential future failure
Interact with engineering and rotating equipment experts to determine required changes to FMEA/RCM/EMP
Administer PdM activities in assigned area. Also, ensure PdM activity schedule compliance
Work with unit engineers and reliability personnel to assist with RCA to eliminate recurring failures as needed
What You Offer
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent with 11 years of mechanical/rotating equipment experience or Associate's degree with 6 years of mechanical/rotating equipment experience
ISO Category II Vibration Certification
The eligibility to apply for and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within a reasonable timeframe
Preferred Qualifications
ISO Category I Thermography Certification or greater
Familiar with PM/PdM principles
SAP competence
Experience in reliability centered engineering
Knowledge & Skills:
Broad knowledge of design, operation, maintenance of rotating equipment
Possess good knowledge of the use and limitations of PM/PdM technologies and their analysis
Understanding of general Maintenance Procedures/Work processes (i.e. Planning, Scheduling, Execution)
MS Office competence
Maturing analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good Oral and Written Communication Skills. Ability to communicate effectively within the organization
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to be a productive member of a team
