We are looking for our next KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (CARGO) to join the Cargo Commercial Division in Amsterdam. You will play a key role in developing and seeking growth opportunities in assigned markets and ensuring compliance with the sales budget in terms of tonnage and revenue, directly contributing to keeping millions of people connected to the world.

There is no routine here; every day brings a new challenge. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Manage a portfolio of assigned key clients and freight forwarders.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and capacity agreements with clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and growth potential within the portfolio.
• Provide customized logistics solutions to meet clients & transportation needs.
• Monitor cargo volume and the financial performance of the accounts under your management.
• Coordinate with Operations and Revenue Management to ensure capacity and service.

What do you need to take off in this role?

• High school diploma with 3 years or relevant work experience OR bachelor's degree with 1 year of relevant work experience field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within Cargo (Airport Ground Handling Agent, Freight Forwarder, Airline, etc.).
• Basic Knowledge and experience with GHA/warehouse handling.
• Superior organizational / planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive business professional that thrives on challenging the status quo
• If you know Excel and Google workspace, Excel inside and out, you are one step ahead because they are highly necessary for this position!
• Self-motivated, and possess a positive attitude

• We need you to have an advanced level of English (C1). If you got this far, we're flying in the same direction!(Mandatory)
• You must possess a driving license (B-rijbewijs) which is crucial to visit customers (Mandatory)
• You must have a valid permit to live and work in Amsterdam (Mandatory).

• Work location: Schiphol-Zuidoost, Amsterdam.
• Work schedule: Full-time.
• Modality: Hybrid (50% on site + 50% remote)
