WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join the team at Picatinny Arsenal. This role involves performing a wide range of cleaning duties, including but not limited to cleaning floors, windows, tables, chairs, restrooms, and equipment in support of military personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and safe. WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION Monday to Friday; There are 2 shifts available: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 9:30AM to 5:30PM. WHAT YOU WILL DO Clean and maintain floors, windows, tables, chairs, restrooms, and equipment. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste following safety protocols. Ensure all areas are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies. Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Maintain an organized work area.

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong verbal communication skills. Well-organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively. Good physical stamina and tolerance for repetitive tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of proper and safe use of cleaning equipment and supplies. Prior janitorial experience is a plus. COMPENSATION This position pays $18.86/hr READY TO APPLY?
