We are currently recruiting talent on behalf of our nonprofit network who has a position for a Custodian! This position is part of the AbilityOne Program. Candidates selected to be an AbilityOne participating employee must provide documentation verifying a qualifying significant disability, as required by U.S. AbilityOne Commission policies. WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT The Custodian will be responsible for performing custodial duties on a day-to-day basis according to the specifications stated or as deemed necessary by the Lead Custodian, Custodial Supervisor. The Custodians efforts directly impact the quality of the environment of the buildings occupants. WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Occasional weekends and/or overtime depending on business need. WHAT YOU WILL DO Cleans (sweeps, mops, etc.) restrooms, garage, docks, corridors, office floors, and entrances Empties trash containers daily Dusts appropriate areas Vacuum Carpets Keeps equipment clean and follows preventive maintenance schedule Wear safety equipment when and where required Periodically buff, strip and wax floors Occasionally move furniture and set-up areas for special occasions, grounds maintenance (police outside areas) Other duties as assigned

Requirements

WHAT YOU BRING High School graduate or GED preferred. Prior custodial experience. Must be able to work independently after being given a directive. Must know chemical and emergency procedures once trained. Must be able to pass drug test (as well as random testing) and a background checks. COMPENSATION This position pays $17.20/hr READY TO APPLY?
