The Pratt & Whitney DT Vendor Management Office (VMO) within Digital Technology Transformation is responsible to integrate all aspects of DT supplier relationships and governance supporting the digital transformation initiatives through collaborating and partnering with suppliers, leaders, and functional service owners. Our organization plays a crucial role in supporting the overall company goals and DT strategies.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team full-time as a DT Vendor Management Co-op. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing all DT purchase requests from start to finish. The position is designed to support & assist the various DT internal functions in the placing and tracking of DT purchase requisitions. The preferred candidate will work closely with the DT VMO and P&W Procurement teams as well as interfacing with some external suppliers in this role.
What You Will Do
- Assist with procurement of goods and services by creating, updating and closing out all purchase requisitions for Digital Technology. This includes all contracted labor (services) and software purchase requests.
- Identify, research, analyze and resolve purchasing issues with DT areas
- Provide a variety of support functions within the Vendor Management Office
- Support DT VMO project implementations
- Create, maintain and update process documentation around DT purchase requisitioning, invoicing support and other DT VMO processes as needed
- Collaborate with the members of the VMO and other departments to optimize the purchase requisition process.
- Maintenance of various DT VMO communications forums
- Assist in resolving DT VMO questions or concerns.
What You Will Learn
- Gain a good understanding of DT Procurement and Vendor Management principles.
- Become more proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Visio.
- Gain experience with SAP and/or SAP Ariba
- Gain experience with Statement of Work (SOW) Tools used within DT
- Exposure to Statement of Works (SOWs) and/or other DT work authorizing documents
- Learn key attributes in DT Contracts and exposure to contract negotiations
Qualifications You Must Have
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program studying Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Basic understanding of Procurement and Vendor Management principles
- Experience with SAP or SAP Ariba
- Experience with SharePoint including internal site administration
- Experience with Statement of Works (SOWs) and/or other work authorizing tools
- Minimum GPA of 3.0

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
