Description
Position: Chemistry CEMs EngineerLocation: Elbląg or remote
Salaries: base+ financial bonus
Responsibilities:
- Development of system level architecture and system engineering for Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and Selective Catalytic Reduction System (SCR)
- Development of detailed system & component specifications and ordering specifications for Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and Selective Catalytic Reduction System (SCR).
- Evaluation of technical and commercial offers from suppliers, providing recommendations in line with customer specification and GEV standards
- Review and evaluate supplier design and authorization of supplier documents
- Disposition of technical queries from supplier and site engineers
- Effectively collaborate with other GEV engineering design teams, customers, architect engineers and suppliers as well as with internal GEV functions such as Sourcing, Drafting, Systems Engineering, Power Island Integration, and Project Management to meet customer deliverables on time.
- Support tender phase by reviewing specification and identifying potential risks on this scope
- Deliver deliverables for CEMS Packages as per project schedule and as per GEV quality standards.
Desired Characteristics
- Self-motivated and able to develop, document, and execute engineering assignments with limited supervision
- Be a team player and be open for coaching and mentoring of more experienced team members.
Skills:
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent
- Background about instrumentation
- Technical Expertise: Utilizing knowledge of gas analyzers and continues emission monitoring systems.
- Experience in the design, emission monitoring systems with strong back-ground on emission monitoring
- Basic knowhow in product engineering
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent English
