What You Will Do:
- Perform initial intake of contract-related requests through designated enterprise intake processes and tools.
- Maintain accurate and complete contract data across tracking tools, CLM platforms, and internal systems to support audit readiness and operational transparency.
- Prepare contractual documents using approved templates, standard clauses, and defined drafting conventions.
- Monitor and manage centralized communication channels (shared inboxes, ticketing systems, request queues).
- Log incoming requests, track status updates, and provide timely, clear communication to internal stakeholders.
- Resolve routine intake questions and assist requesters with troubleshooting issues related to documentation, templates, or required information.
- Route requests for review, approval, or escalation in accordance with established workflows, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Perform basic compliance checks to confirm that required documentation, mandatory data fields, and approval steps are completed.
- Upload, index, name, and maintain contract records in designated repositories to ensure complete, accurate, and retrievable documentation.
- Support record maintenance activities, metadata updates, and system corrections.
- Participate in training sessions with senior team members to learn processes, contracting standards, and enterprise tools.
- Assist in process-improvement activities through minor updates to workflows, templates, or documentation.
- Work under moderate supervision with well-defined procedures and established escalation paths for non-standard or complex matters.
- Recommend small improvements to systems, tools, or processes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, or turnaround time.
- Escalate complex, unclear, or risk-related issues to senior analysts, supervisors, or management.
- Log all turnback activities, errors, or issues into designated tracking systems to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all records to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to Collins' contracting standards
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in contracts, legal operations, procurement, or a related field
- High attention to detail, with proven ability to analyze and interpret contract language.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in Customer and Supply Chain Contracting supporting global stakeholders
- Experience supporting U.S. Government contracting, including familiarity with FAR/DFARS clauses, flow-down requirements, and regulated supply chains.
- Experience working in a large, matrixed organization
- Prior exposure to continuous improvement activities
- Advanced degree similar to Juris Doctor or Licenciatura en Derecho degree
- Knowledge of U.S. Government-related compliance areas such as export controls (ITAR/EAR), data protection, cybersecurity obligations (e.g., NIST 800-171), or ethics and procurement integrity, is a plus.
