Description
Infosys is seeking a UI Architect. This position's primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best-practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
- Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
- At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience in React, Redux, Next.js.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies (AWS).
- Experience in Angular 1.x /TanStack
- Identifying business needs, developing technical solutions, and ensuring those solutions are aligned with business goals and architectural standards.
- Work with product managers, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them in best practices and architectural standards.
- Design high-level architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and product specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify and resolve design flaws, and ensure the overall health and stability of the system.
- Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation to support the development process and future maintenance efforts.
- Proficiency in software design principles, including object-oriented design, architectural patterns (e.g., SOA, microservices), and database design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
