Works under general supervision and utilizing knowledge of electronic theory, sets up test equipment and test conditions to test and troubleshoot systems, subsystems and units. Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, calibrates and solders a wide variety of test equipment. Test and troubleshoot CCAs that have specific and detailed test instructions (MITs).
*1st Shift - 6:30AM - 3:00PM OR 7:30AM - 4:00PM - Portsmouth, RI. This is an onsite role.*
What you will do:
- Works from schematics, test specifications, prints, part lists, test procedures, wiring and logic diagrams, maintenance manuals, engineering and manufacturer's specifications, calibration procedures, written and verbal instructions to perform a wide range of testing inspection and calibration operations.
- Sets up test equipment and test conditions.
- Tests, marries, and/or aligns systems, subsystems and units, and troubleshoots to diagnose, locate and recommend rework to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Recommends corrective action and repairs or replaces components or units necessary to complete testing sequence.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and calibrates test equipment as required.
- Installs minor engineering changes in test equipment.
- Records test results, test data, calibration and repair data as required.
- Moves portable test equipment as needed.
- Performs general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools and equipment.
- Maintains records, moves materials and follows safety rules in performance of duties.
- Performs other similar duties as required or directed.
- Machine, Tools and Equipment used but not limited to: Various automatic, semiautomatic, and manual measuring equipment and instruments, test fixtures, meters, soldering equipment, special test sets and equipment, pulse and signal generators, variac, emulators, analyzers, microscopes, high voltage potential tester, continuity tester and common hand tools.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
Clearance Information: This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
