Description
The Reality Labs Custom Silicon Program Management team at Meta is pioneering breakthrough work in AI, computer vision, machine learning, mixed reality, graphics, displays, sensors, and innovative human interface technologies. Our chips will power AR devices that seamlessly blend the real and virtual worlds. To achieve these ambitious goals, we focus on the entire technology stack-from transistor-level design, through architecture, firmware, and algorithms.We are seeking Technical Program Managers (TPMs) specializing in Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) and/or display driver custom silicon development. This role is ideal for those passionate about driving innovation in analog, mixed-signal, display drivers, and custom IP blocks, including sensor interfaces, power management, and high-speed I/O. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and experience the full vertical integration of next-generation products. This position leverages your technical expertise and program management skills in a multi-functional leadership role, offering exposure to cutting-edge technologies from concept to mass production.Silicon AMS Technical Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for Analog Mixed Signal and display Silicon TPM execution
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships across AMS and display silicon engineering, cross-functional leadership, and external vendors
- Work with Product Managers, Analog/Mixed-Signal Design Engineers, Verification Engineers, Test Engineers, and other stakeholders to set milestones, create integration plans, and identify/address potential setbacks/risks and mitigation plans for silicon development
- Develop schedules, identify critical paths and bottlenecks, and maintain execution throughout the duration of programs
- Effectively communicate program status, technical challenges, and risk mitigation strategies to key cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
- Drive best practices and technology development processes for analog/mixed-signal silicon in a rapidly evolving environment to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage the design, development, and delivery of pre-silicon development vehicles (e.g., AMS test chips, evaluation boards, FPGAs)
- Manage delivery and qualification of silicon for development builds, ensuring readiness for mass production
- Ensure program documentation is complete, current, and accessible for staff and leadership review
- Contribute to resource planning and allocation to ensure program success
- Embed with engineering teams to manage external vendors engaged in silicon development, including resource management, review processes, supply chain, and operations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience working in large cross-functional environments to translate system/module specifications into silicon requirements
- Experience navigating ambiguity in a fast-changing consumer electronics field
- 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal silicon development and/or integration for consumer hardware products
- Experience owning/driving project development using well-defined metrics through engineering proto builds, especially for AMS and display silicon blocks
- Proven communicator and teammate with experience working effectively with teams across multiple locations
- Experience managing vendors in high-volume silicon-related builds from concept to delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of analog/mixed-signal design trends and challenges for AR/VR products, including display, sensor, and power management technologies
- Expertise in display driver silicon design, integration, or program management is a major plus
- Experience working effectively as an individual and in multidisciplinary teams
- Results-oriented, proactive, with demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience collaborating and/or leading in a team environment
- Knowledge of industry trends and disruptive technologies in analog/mixed-signal silicon
- Experience with custom AMS or display driver silicon development, including tapeout, validation, and mass production

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
