Summary of Role:
Raytheon Enterprise Services (ES) is looking for a highly motivated, business-focused Digital Technologies (DT) Project Manager to join our Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO is part of an enterprise shared services organization and is responsible for leading significant business transformation technology projects that reach across the company. These projects span the business functions, and our organization supports both Enterprise as well as business-specific solutions. This position will lead a variety of technology projects in a fast-paced environment. Using our corporate project management processes and methods, the Project Manager will lead cross-functional, multi-business teams, collaborating at all levels of the Enterprise to ensure project success and satisfied stakeholders. The Project Manager will employ a variety of Project Methodologies and Frameworks (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) speed to value. The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for planning and executing the project and enabling the internal customer organization to achieve their objectives and realize business value.
What You Will Do:
- Support communication, change management, and all project management in line with ESI PMO standards.
- Lead, manage, and facilitate concurrent projects, while remaining flexible with changing priorities, timeframes, and scope of services.
- Possesses advanced knowledge of project management applications (i.e. Planview, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite).
- Lead project initiation, definition, planning, coordination, and delivery of key strategic initiatives
- Coordinate with senior leaders and executives to define business objectives, determine scope and funding needs, and establish business cases supporting project investments
- Align project team around project visions, strategy, goals, and business objectives
- Coordinate and control team activities, including technical implementation tasks, process reengineering, and organizational change activities to achieve desired results
- Prepare project execution plans and ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, meet technical requirements, and achieve business objectives
- Ability to take on roles in an Agile framework, such as Scrum Master or Product Manager, or Product Owner
- Ensure project results are of the highest caliber, meeting technical and behavioral objectives, business case targets, and planned value
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- Experience working with technical teams to define and implement IT solution architectures, including software development, software configuration and integration, and IT infrastructure implementations
- History of developing business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
- Working both independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environments
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Certifications such as: PMP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, ITIL
- Proficient use of PPM Tools and Microsoft Applications
