We are seeking a Program Quality Lead (PQL) to join the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Quality team supporting the Israeli Cooperative Programs (ICP) and Indirect Fire Protections Capability (IFPC) program areas.
As the primary quality interface for the product Integrated Product Team (IPT), you'll ensure the program meets all Quality & Mission Assurance requirements. This includes coordinating with functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and overseeing the scope of work through all integrated product development phases within the contract.
You'll develop and monitor quality metrics to drive proactive continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with integrated teams to enforce process rigor. In the program quality role, you will work directly with the customer, internal factories, and suppliers in support of contract start-up activities, Engineering development, product integration and sell-off.
This is an onsite role located in Tucson, AZ.
What You Will Do:
- Represent Quality on the program leadership team
- Oversee root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues and co-chair the Corrective Action Board (CAB).
- Establish customer relations and process customer corrective action requests.
- Support technical Quality performance and assess compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements across key suppliers and internal factories.
- Generate CORE (Customer Oriented Result and Excellence) and CoPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) projects to reduce costs/increase efficiency.
- Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable.
- Review the Engineering program documentation, including specifications, requirements, specification control drawings, altered item drawings, assembly drawings, test plans, procedures, instructions and standard operating procedures prior to release for correctness to technical standards.
- Support the completion of First Article Inspection and Qualification efforts for both internal factories and suppliers
- This role requires some domestic and international travel
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of prior relevant experience.
- Working experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
- Working experience guiding teams in failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action.
- Working experience translating external and internal requirements and command media
- Working experience in providing technical program support for manufacturing and/or design processes.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Six Sigma, American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification.
- Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) including the following tools: FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and Process Capability Assessments.
- Experience Reviewing Statement of Work (SOW), Corrective Action Requests (CAR)
- Experience presenting, reviewing and/or approving changes through a formal Change Control Board (CCB).
- Experience interfacing directly with customers and creating relationships with program management, cross-functional program leadership, suppliers, customers and government representatives.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional teams in systematic improvement activities (e.g., Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Experience in First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102.
- Experience managing the execution of FAIs (or similar requirements) across several suppliers or factories.
- Experience translating system and contractual requirements to ensure full compliance is flowed down through product, assembly, and test documentation.
- Active Secret Clearance or higher.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
