As a Principal Specialist, Logistics, you will contribute to a fast-paced, innovative team with responsibility to ensure Government, Customer, and Raytheon owned property is efficiently managed and in compliance with current business processes, contract requirements, regulations, and sound business practices across the organization. The role will administer and/or maintain aspects of the Property Management System including support of multiple property lifecycle areas (i.e., receiving, identification, utilization, physical inventory, relief of stewardship, and contract closure).
This position requires working on assignments as a member of our property team to perform and support research, audits, analysis, and system transactions by creating, reviewing, approving, and correcting property records, reports, and systems.
What You Will Do
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in managing government, customer, and company property requirements at the Andover facility; providing direction and guidance to other business functions.
- Adapt quickly to changing situations and urgent requests to ensure that business needs are met.
- Ability to effectively communicate with program managers, directors, functional leadership, customer representatives and government agencies related to property activities.
- Skilled in team building, conflict resolution and relationship management to create an effective partnering environment that includes credibility, respect, and trust.
- Responsibility for creating, evaluating, and presenting to management leading and lagging metrics that may drive and or influence the property system.
- Must be able to lift (Knees to shoulders), 28 pounds (2-handed), 12 pounds (1-handed) or 2-handed lifting below knee or above shoulder, 18 pounds.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Experience working in Property, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- National Property Management Association, CPPS certification or able to obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
- Working knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM), cPDM, and asset tracking systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Self-Starter that requires minimal supervision, as well as the ability to manage priorities.
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers, customers, and team members.
- Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements and Sarbanes Oxley.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
