Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP SCM Consultant

As a Lead Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design. You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization's financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology
  
• The location for this position is Pomona CA. This position may require travel to Project / client locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience in SAP SCM implementation and Support programs
• Experience across Electricity (preferred), or Gas or Water Utilities industries, North America
• Strong consulting experience in SAP MM Skills (Quotation, Contracts, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Scheduling Agreements, Special Purchase Scenarios, Advanced Returns Management, Inventory Management, MRP, Stock Transfers, Flexible Workflow, Invoice Management, Pricing include defining pricing procedure, condition records)
• Should have exposure to S/4 HANA and good knowledge of Material, Vendor and purchasing master data.
• Should have exposure to EWM process like Inbound delivery, Stock transfer within warehouse, Outbound delivery, Wave management and RF transactions
• Should be well versed in demonstrated configuration skills in key areas like Procurement, Inventory Management and Extended Warehouse Management
• Should have good integration knowledge with other areas of supply chain like FI, SD, QM and workorder / asset management.
• Having SAP Ariba skills should be added advantageous
• Candidate should have experience in writing Functional Specifications independently and should have good work experience dealing with critical projects
• Experience of at least 1 end to end lifecycle implementation activities including:
  • Requirement gathering
  • Business process design
  • SAP configuration
  • RICEFW Functional design
  • Systems and Integration Testing
  • Resolving production issues
• Strong Client Facing experience, great communication and presentations skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work in advanced excel based data analysis
• Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore
• Flexible work timings required due to remote working environment including offshore overlaps twice a day

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required in an ad hoc basis (depends on the current situation) as per the job requirements.
