About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Safety Supervisor, you will function as the primary safety officer, responsible for ensuring adherence to all safety standards and regulations over multiple local industrial facilities.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining safety policies, conducting site inspections, and coordinating safety training for vendors. Additionally, this role involves preparing monthly safety reports for clients, traveling to various sites for inspections and training sessions, and serving as the main point of contact for safety compliance and standards.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary safety officer, ensuring adherence to all safety standards and regulations.
 - Support managers in the development and implementation of safety programs and initiatives.
 - Oversee fleet maintenance to guarantee operational safety and compliance.
 - Manage asset tracking within designated systems to ensure accurate records.
 - Coordinate work order management and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
 - Utilize CMMS for monitoring maintenance activities and safety compliance.
 - Schedule and coordinate safety training sessions for vendors.
 - Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
 - Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), maintain related documentation, and perform site safety inspections.
 - Prepare and deliver monthly safety updates to clients in a professional and client-facing manner.
 - Travel to multiple sites (approximately three times per month) for inspections, training and JHA completion.
 - Point of contact for escalated communications between landlord, tenants, and service providers by ensuring all procedures, policies, and reporting formats are understood, and implemented.
 - Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment.
 - Review data from work order reports and create and present performance and progress status reports to management. Make suggestions on how to improve efficiency.
 - Keep track of regular and ad-hoc facility expenses.
 - Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
 - May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
 - Has a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams.
 - Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
 - Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.
 
- High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. Prior safety manager or supervisory experience preferred.
 - In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
 - Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
 - Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
 - Excellent organizational skills with a master- level inquisitive mindset.
 - Exceptional math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
