The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
Role Overview:
RTX is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Services Specialist to support a classified cloud environment. This position is housed within the Classified Digital Services organization of Enterprise Services Cybersecurity, where the selected candidate will join a highly-functioning team providing enterprise-grade classified cloud capabilities to support our programs across RTX. This on-site position is based in McKinney, TX, and requires a Top Secret Clearance. The selected candidate will lead the design, automation, and engineering of Azure cloud solutions in highly governed environments. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Azure Government architecture, cybersecurity controls, and their implementation within a cloud landscape. The Specialist will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple RTX business units and functional organizations.
What You Will Do:
- Define architecture and provision services in Microsoft Azure.
 - Create and maintain automation pipelines for infrastructure deployment using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
 - Implement cybersecurity controls and leverage cybersecurity services within a cloud environment.
 - Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure, including supporting new and existing deployments.
 - Configure Azure resources, Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), virtual network peering, and User Defined Routes for networking.
 - Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, cloud vendors, and cross-functional digital technology teams to deliver tailored cloud solutions.
 - Manage customer expectations, resource fluctuations, shifting priorities, and roadmap dependencies.
 - Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external standards such as NIST 800-53 and CMMC.
 - Integrate cloud solutions with enterprise networks and IT systems for seamless operations.
 - Troubleshoot technical issues, document processes, and recommend architectural improvements.
 - Work within Agile teams to achieve product goals and deliverables, including technical documentation and operational guides to support cloud adoption.
 
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
 - Minimum of 3 years of public cloud experience, with at least 1 years specifically in Microsoft Azure Government.
 - Proficiency in RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and Windows.
 - Certification in Azure AZ-900.
 - IAT Level II Certification, such as Cloud+ or Security+.
 - Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
 
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Advanced certifications such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+), CCSP, or similar.
 - Certification in Azure AZ-104.
 - Proficient in Terraform, Ansible, Python, or other relevant languages used for cloud automation, infrastructure provisioning, and integration.
 - Experience providing system administration for a classified information system

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
