We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will design and implement a production planning system to simulate and optimize our production plans, develop a robust database system to manage and analyze our data, and create reporting systems to provide insights to our operations team.

Data Expert - Manufacturing Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a production planning system to quickly simulate and optimize production plans for multiple SKUs, considering line qualification constraints and other operational constraints
• Develop and implement a robust database system to manage and analyze production data, including data from various sources such as ERP, MES, and other systems
• Create reporting systems to provide insights to the operations team, including dashboards, reports, and alerts
• Analyze production data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide recommendations to improve production efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and engineering, to ensure that the production planning system and database meet business requirements
• Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and optimization techniques to solve complex production planning problems
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in production planning, optimization, and data analytics

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of working experience in data analysis or optimization field
• Good data processing skills, including data modeling, data mining, and data visualization
• Experience in system modeling and optimization, including linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, and simulation
• Proficiency in Gurobi or other optimization tools
• Good SQL skills and experience with other data tools such as Python, R, or Tableau
• Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) logic and experience with MES systems
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques
• Experience with agile project management methodologies
• Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred
