Pratt and Whitney has an exciting opportunity for a FP&A Managerwith our Columbus Forge Disks (CFD) Finance Department.
The position will be based onsite at our facilitiesin Columbus, GA.
What You Will Do:
Our position requires strong cost accounting, financial analysis, and forecasting skills.
The candidate selected will maintain, forecast & report data for analysis and use in short and long-term cost forecasting models.
The Candidate must be strong in extracting and managing large amounts of data from centralized systems using Microsoft Excel.
The position requires interaction with multiple functional areas and all levels of management making both written and verbal communication skills critical.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop, prepare & submit monthly closing, forecast and annual budget process.
- Review & approve purchase orders as required.
- Ensure inventory adjustments and physical counts are executed properly.
- Create and prepare business cases for capital projects.
- Coordinate and maintain capital projects and budget with capital team.
- Manage fixed asset disposals and capitalization.
- Assist Asst. Controller with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) annual required testing.
- Assist Asst. Controller with internal audit and ACA reviews as required.
- Ad hoc reporting for operations, senior management and leadership as requested.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required with at least 8+ years of relevant work experience; OR a Master's degree with at least 5+ years or relevant work experience with a master's degree.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals and/or teams at all levels.
- Strong communication, business writing and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Experience developing project forecasting and budgeting models.
- Purchase order knowledge/experience.
- SAP experience.
- Strong data mining skills (Excel, Access, Visual Basic, SQL).
- Aerospace/Manufacturing experience.

This role is:
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite.
*This requisition is eligible for an employee referral award. ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
