The Datacenter Automation Systems (DAS) team is committed to the successful implementation of autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles throughout multiple datacenters. CBRE is seeking full-time, permanent, mid-level DAS Deployment PM with experience coordinating the deployment of robotics-centric automation solutions. The DAS Deployment PM will report to the Client-approved location:

• Moncks Corner, SC

The Deployment PM requirements relate to construction, safety and operational best practices while coordinating the deployment of automation solutions at the Client's data centers. The individual will collaborate with project engineers, project managers, CAD/BIM Operators, technical writers, suppliers and installers. Ideal candidates must be comfortable communicating regularly via video conference, email and internal ticketing systems.


• Acquire clear understanding of product requirements by reviewing, understanding and interpreting technical specifications, blueprints and engineering illustrations, mockups, and prototypes.

• Use industry standard project management methodologies to initiate, plan, execute automation deployments and monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and budget targets are met.

• Document and manage risks, issues, actions and decisions that affect automation deployment deliverables.

• Lead projects, coordinating activities with customers, engineering teams, and suppliers while overseeing third-party integrators performing implementation work

• Create and Utilize templates for standardizing system documentation.

• Coordinate the deployment of multiple automation solutions at customer data centers

• Coordinate the deployment of NavSystem

• Manage a dynamic team of 3-6 installers for NavSystem

• Coordinate access requests.

• Coordinate logistics of materials & supplies.

• Proactively engage with the project team and provide status reports.

• Identify and recommend metrics to consistently measure and track productivity on a monthly basis.

• Create and Utilize templates for standardizing system documentation.

• Identify process refinement and standardization in deployments

• Ability to skillfully manage a diverse set of team members and stakeholders

• Travel Requirements - 25%


• 3+ years of project management experience.

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

• Ability to coordinate with and influence stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions.

• Proven ability to organize complex product information into clear written descriptions and instructions.

• Preferred experience with robotic process automation.

• Preferred experience with standard PMP or LEED AP methodology.


Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study.

Licensure as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is desired.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.

Knowledge of the entitlement/permitting process and construction delivery methods and agreements. Familiarity with construction best practices, general building codes, and various building types and systems. Passion for being detail oriented and highly organized.

Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
