At Collins, our Inspection Technicians perform detailed inspections of products-including parts, assemblies, raw materials, and tooling instruments-to ensure strict compliance with design data requirements such as drawings, specifications, and contract standards. Execute inspections at predetermined stages of the manufacturing process using established methods, precision tools, and best practices to verify quality and reliability.
External candidates will receive a $3,000 sign on bonus.
What You Will Do:
- Uses predetermined methods, operations, setups, prescribed specifications to inspect arriving, in process, and completed products for conformance to engineering requirements and in accordance with quality specifications.
 - Uses a variety of measuring devices, testing equipment, computer systems, and statistical control processes to perform in process, final bench and product feature inspections and inspection tasks.
 - Inspects actual products on the floor and on-line. Performs First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
 - Raises notifications of non-conformance, quarantines non-conforming product and, when approved to do so, provides disposition.
 - Oversight and inspection of parts, materials and processes

- Typically requires a HS Diploma or vocational/technical education in related discipline
